Close to high, before it's high

Front-of-pack traffic lights only turn red once a product is high. If you're cutting down on something, that's too late. With a goal set, TrustPick warns you from 75% of the line. Values printed per serving are converted to per 100 g first.

Built to be trusted

  • Rules decide, AI explains. Every flag comes from fixed, tested rules and the label itself. The personal take is checked before you see it and dropped if it mentions anything the rules didn't find.
  • Sourced. Each finding shows where it comes from: the label, UK FSA, NHS, WHO or the EU.
  • Honest about gaps. No nutrition panel? We say your goal wasn't checked, instead of saying it fits.
  • Your data stays yours. Only an age group is ever shared with Misha, never your birth date. Pregnancy never reaches analytics. Delete it all from the app.

Questions people ask

What does “Made for you” check?

Every product you scan or open is checked against your allergens, your diet, your nutrition goals, pregnancy or breastfeeding if you add it, and each family member you add. The answer is one of three: fits you, check first, or not a fit, with the label lines that caused it.

Is it free?

Allergen flags and clear diet conflicts are free for everyone and always will be. TrustPick Plus adds the “check first” ingredients, earlier nutrition warnings for your goals, pregnancy and breastfeeding checks, family members, the personal take and personal Misha answers.

How does it handle a Jain diet?

Onion, garlic, fresh ginger, potato, carrot, radish, beetroot and other root vegetables, mushroom, honey, egg, meat and gelatine are flagged as not a fit. Vague label words such as “spices”, “masala” and “natural flavour”, plus dried ginger (sonth), yeast and vinegar, are flagged as check first, because practice varies between families.

What is “close to high”?

Front-of-pack labels call a food high in fat above 17.5 g per 100 g (UK FSA). If you have a low-fat goal, TrustPick tells you from 75% of that line, about 13 g per 100 g. The same works for saturated fat, sugar and salt, with half the lines for drinks.

Is this medical advice?

No. The checks are informational and based on published public guidance (NHS, WHO, UK FSA, FSSAI, EU). They never tell you what you must or mustn’t eat. For anything specific to your pregnancy, health or child, talk to your doctor.

What happens to my pregnancy and birth date details?

They stay in your profile and are only used to run your checks. You confirm before pregnancy or breastfeeding is used, and you can remove it any time. Misha and the personal take only ever see an age group, never your birth date, and none of it goes into our analytics. TrustPick accounts are for adults; add children as family members.
