How TrustPick works
- 1
Scan or search
Point the app at a label or barcode, or search a product by name here.
- 2
We read the label
Ingredients are extracted in label order, with additives matched to their INS or E numbers.
- 3
See what matters
Each ingredient gets its regulatory status in India, the EU, the US and Canada, plus anything worth knowing.
- 4
Choose better
Compare similar products and pick the one that fits your diet.
Independent by design
Results come from the label and regulatory data, never from who pays. Ads and affiliate links are always marked, and they never change a product's score.
Read our advertising disclosureQuestions people ask
Is TrustPick free?
Yes. Looking up products on this website is free, and the app’s scanning and ingredient analysis are free too. TrustPick Plus adds a higher scan limit and the Health Score.
Where does the product information come from?
From product labels scanned by TrustPick users, retailer listings, and public datasets such as USDA FoodData Central. Product facts are always shown separately from TrustPick’s own analysis.
How is the analysis worked out?
An AI model reads each ingredient and summarises how regulators in India (FSSAI), the EU, the US (FDA) and Canada treat it: no known regulatory concern, worth noting (for example, permitted with limits), or restricted / not permitted. Consumer context is shown separately from regulatory status. The full rules, and how the Health Score is calculated, are published on our methodology page at trustpick.app/methodology.
Does advertising affect a product’s result?
No. Results and scores are generated independently of any advertising or affiliate relationship, and sponsored content is always labelled.
Is this medical advice?
No. TrustPick is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It is for consumer education and decision support. For medical, allergy or dietary decisions, talk to a qualified professional.
Scan labels in the shop.
The TrustPick app reads any label with your camera, even for products that aren't in the catalogue yet.
