About supplements & vitamins in Europe
In the European Union, food supplements are sold as foods under Directive 2002/46/EC and aren’t pre-approved, vitamins and minerals must come from an approved list, and health claims need authorisation under Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006. Products appear here as TrustPick users scan them.
Product pages list the ingredients as printed, including capsule shells, sweeteners and flavours, and, once analysed, the regulatory status of each under the supplement and food rules of India, the EU, the US and Canada.
